In Wisconsin, two Goodwill employees were hard at work sorting through donated shoes to get them shelf ready when they came across the ultimate donation, $13,000 dollars in cash tucked away in a yellow envelope. The owner was eventually tracked down using a tax receipt and the discarded money was returned. The woman who came to collect the money said that it belonged to her husband who had habit of stashing cash, a side effect of living through the Great Depression. A small reward was given to the two employees who returned the money.
