Whoops!

Whoops! In Wisconsin, two Goodwill employees were hard at work sorting through donated shoes to get them shelf ready when they came across the ultimate donation, $13,000 dollars in cash tucked away in a yellow envelope. The owner was eventually tracked down using a tax receipt and the discarded money was returned. The woman who came to collect the money said that it belonged to her husband who had habit of stashing cash, a side effect of living through the Great Depression. A small reward was given to the two employees who returned the money.

Oh, haven’t we all forgotten to send in our taxes after living during the Civil War? This guy had no excuse…
