In Italy, a man is being questioned after police found 1,700 live animals crammed into the small truck of his hatchback during a routine check. Among the animals found were, 1,000 terrapins, 300 white mice, 200 parakeets, 150 hamsters, 30 Japanese squirrels, and 6 chameleons. Officials suspect that the man was involved in an underground animal smuggling ring and planned to make a big score with his latest delivery. The confiscated animals were immediately divided up and delivered safely to local zoos.

That made me worry about Italy somewhat.
I love the tittle though. XD
whoa, i bet when they opened it i bet those Japanese squirrels jumped out in some sort of ninja formation, slinging nunchucks and samari swords. just sayin’.
to BekkyS. :…lol.
to everyone else who is reading this: …those poor animals…I feel sorry for them. All crammed into a truck.
D’aw, how sad. That would be something all right. Buy a car, get pulled over, they check the trunk and you’ve robbed a…zoo? D;
that terrible – -” I cannot see any zoo and any animal in grids.
I just think free all earthlings… =)
okay so all those animals are fairly small. but seriously that’s an amazing number.
