The fire started when the gorilla slowly began to deflate and landed on a set of hot lights used to illuminate the balloon. Firefighters arrived on the scene before any severe damage could occur, but two stores did suffer water damage. Fortunately nobody was injured in the blaze except for the gorilla, who's charred remains were scattered about the scene.
