In Israel, mermaid sightings have begun to take the news by storm, causing hundreds to flock to the Kiryat Yam coast on the off chance that they might witness the mythological creature in all its glory. Witness reports claim that the a half girl, half fish appears at sunset and dazzles onlookers with water tricks, then returns to the murky depths of the ocean. Another witness report claims that a peculiar looking woman was spotting sunbathing on the local beach and quickly dove into the water, tail and all, after becoming startled by approaching beachgoers. The local government has offered up a staggering sum of $1,000,000 for the first person with photographic proof of the elusive creature.

Oh I heard about this on the radio. I think its a tale cooked up by the place. But if it is real, well, they got a problem on their hands. I hear mermaids like to eat people

Well, there IS still 90% of the ocean we haven’t explored, so we really don’t know what’ s out there. I mean, what if theres a under-water civilaztion full of those creatures? I hope don’t sig, though. Then, it will only be a matter of a few days before they’re all extinct.
You know how they say mermaids are all perty ‘an such? What if, the mermaid was actually a hideous butt-fugly creature that eats its own poop for survival?
