Somebody in Cambodia, taking the term ‘thinking out of the box’ way too far, had the bright idea to create a beauty pageant solely for the victims of landmine accidents. The contestants compete in a photo exhibition, followed by an internet voting poll, all in the hopes of winning the ultimate prize—a prosthetic limb. Luckily the Cambodian government canceled the event, quoting that ‘it was in bad taste’.

But then that means nobody wins the leg!
Trust the government to spoil everyone’s fun.
Ummm, wow?
Grotesquely weird…
Okaayy…
Yeah… I heard about that. Such a depressing tale, really. No one got their wonderous new limb due to bad taste?… (grumble grumble)
hmmm……..wow….just…..wow
If I didn’t trust you, Curtis-sama, I’d say you were pulling my leg.
*Ba-dum-CSHHHHHHHHH*
yeah dats sux. sounded like a good idea to me ..prosthetic legs aint cheap, n this i know for fact.
i’d give a arm and a leg to get that….leg
poor things. they deserve that leg. especially since they probably got hit by the land mines their government put there in the first place.
I think was a great idea! why not? its not a bad taste… I really think that was a great idea…
That’s messed up! The government should have at least send everyone a prostetic limb/s and an apology on the “bad taste beauty pagent”!
That is terrible! It is in great taste! Out there, land mines are a real problem, and alot of children lose limbs. Not only is this great for self esteem (if played right) but it can also give alot of land mine awareness!
