In Alabama, an 11-year-old boy faked his own kidnapping to avoid showing his parents a bad report card. The boy spun a mythical tale about a stranger threatening to kill him and ultimately shoving him into an old beat-up car. A struggle ensued and the boy was able to escape, but he had to sacrifice his backpack in the process. It just so happens that his report card was tucked away in that same backpack. Eventually, as the police began their investigation, the boy fessed up and finally told the truth.

Harken Strangers! So you’ve come here on this dark and stormy night to hear my dastardly little tale. Let me begin by saying, that no matter how shocking it may seem, every crimson ounce of it is true. I am an advocate of mischief and a creator of turmoil. I compose ghastly music based on eerie circumstance and delightful tragedy in the band Creature Feature and the band Rufus Rex. I direct strange films depicting ill-fated events and ghoulish irony. I am a writer of the macabre, as opposed to a revolver, I use a sharpened pencil to displace my brains. I gently squeeze the trigger and splatter the page with metaphor. Read, watch, and listen, you never know what wonderful terrible things you might unearth.

ahauhauHUHUHA
By that point, I’d just buy him some ice cream if he was my son. That much creative thinking deserves a reward. ;D
Sounds like something someone I know would do. XD
I would so do this.
Anyway, this kid is my hero. Fucking lovely.
oh wow.. he goes through all that trouble to avoid getting in trouble without thinking of the consequences?? ha! sounds like something I would do!!
*sigh* …*shakes head*…boys…
It would break my heart if my son did something like this because he was afraid the worse outcome would have been telling me the truth. >_>;
I’d fake my own kidnapping….but I don’t have the time.lol.
ok…. i got probably the worst grade on my math test from the other day out of the whole eighth grade, even worse then people with reps of bad grades got probably, and i’m not gonna fake my own kidnapping, i don’t really plan on going straight up to my parents and telling them, but i wouldn’t do that, and besides not like it’d do me any good, if i don’t tell them, my math teacher is bound to tell my mom sooner or later, and i don’t get grades this bad that often
You spelled struggle wrong silly. ^____^
i would get that kid a happy meal!!!!! maybe we’d find a diamond ring! sorry but at that point kid deserves a notebook and unlimited pens. amazing!
Nice this kid could become a bad ass writer i hope he dose
